Quite an unpredictable summer visitor to southern Africa. They are very dependent on conditions, and can be all over one locality one season, and completely absent for the next few seasons, and will only return when conditions are suitable! That being said, Kgomo-Kgomo in South Africa is normally fairly reliable for them with them pitching up most seasons. Zimbabwe and Mozambique are good alternatives as well.
